Hello.
Welcome to my life!
How can I help you?
I offer therapy at half past three,
my voice at 10 to nine,
my ear at 12 sharp,
my luck at 12:34,
and my heart at the wishing time—11:11.
My mind is gone already but I'll give you my intelligence if you so ask.
If you ask to hear me that'd be a new one,
And I'm sorry to say that I wouldn't deliver
because all you will hear me say is:
How can I help you?

You say I love words but what I love most is silence;
that abscess speaks louder than anything said.
Noise comes in abundance.
Silence is sacred.
So you have to understand that when I don't give a reply
maybe I'm saying something.
"Actions speak louder than words."
How that proverbial though haunts me because however
much
I TRY
my actions cannot scream loud enough
to drill into the brain (of the one who should know me best)
that maybe I am not a stereotype
maybe I'm not trying to be sassy, but wise.
And WHY
does she want to see me in that unflattering light?

So I will learn to talk with my hands
because people in a silent community
truly believe
that speech is not a prerequisite for consideration
and action speaks louder than words.
And if I'm really luck they will realize
The unspoken beauty of the phrase
'how can I help you?'.
A little rusty. Just needed to let this out.
