It rained today, and snowed. The snow isn't really important to me though, I'm not sure why. The rain is very special to me. I'm in love with drama queens, but not in love with drama. The stage is set for me-- but I don't want to be a character. It seems so fun on TV, but drama's not the path for me. I'm in love with the wind in my hair, the rest in the chair, the simple in the sky. I get thrills from the trust in the fall, the yes in the no, the love in the laughter. I am jumping out of my skin at the moment! :heart: Many of my friends know that I am going to be flying to Florida this summer. I am going to be vising my gorgeous girlfriend ~vendixnosferatu (https://www.deviantart.com/vendixnosferatu) while I'm there. I can nearly wait. :heart: But my huge news is that I have the money for the ticket now. :D I'm going to be buying it next week. This has been a huge goal for myself. I knew I was going to go before I had all the money, but after I buy the ticket it will finalize it and make it actually real. not just a dream. :heart: :heart: :heart: :heart:

day 3: still missing you, but better

So, as I predicted, everything did indeed look better in the morning.  Yesterday was very fun.  We went to two museums, on of which was really boring and one in which I lamented the inability to take pictures.  I got some nice pictures with my grandma.  we had a free evening so we went to a great cathedral built by some missionary who was a jerk and knocked down the native church.  He did some good things too, but I would not have wanted to know him in person.  I lit four candles there, three for specific people and one for safe travels for Becca, Kasey, Claire, Grandma and I.  We also went to a chapel which has a self-supporting spiral stair

Hopefully I won't be boring you all by posting every day.  That's a little excessive.  But dear god do I miss all of you that I know in person.  I could kiss someone right now.  Anyone!  I just need some physical contact or something!  How the hell  am going to survive those first few weeks of college without you I don't know. We've had a bit of a trying day.  We had a bus nearly two hours late and then our dinner was served late.  Our main teacher is uninteresting, but he won't teach us much.  It will all be better in the morning.   We had a wonderful seminar with a drum maker and made drumsticks. Hello from "enchanting New Mexico"!  I'm currently with my grandma in our hotel room before dinner on our first day here.  Haven't really gotten to see anything yet.  We're with a bunch of grandparents and grandchildren.  I'm probably the oldest, 15 is the age cutoff and I'm 16 next month.  I met a nice 12-year-old named Claire on our shuttle to the hotel.  There's also a Clara, Emma, and Sarah in our group that I haven't met yet.  This is either going to make names easy to remember or hopelessly confusing.
